At the Lighthouse we endeavour to lift up Jesus Christ!

 
Jesus said, "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. John 12:32-33
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."  John 8:12

Jesus is the light of the world and as we lift Him up those who are in darkness can be led to safety...and by faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all, as we follow Him we can walk in the light of life both now and forever!

Therefore, at the Lighthouse, we endeavour to lift up Jesus in two ways
1. in our worship, 2. in our witness ... so all can see and have life!

So the crowd answered him, "We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?" So Jesus said to them, "The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you.  The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light."

John 12:34-36

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven..
